Top 10 Exclusive Nintendo Switch Games 2024 Edition
The Nintendo Switch is about to turn 7 years old this year, marking one of Nintendo’s longest life cycles for their consoles ever. As the new year begins, anticipation is building around the speculation of the Nintendo Switch 2 or a 4K Nintendo Switch, hinting at the next generation of Nintendo console. The success of the Nintendo Switch has been consistent with very little slowdown in its pace.
In 2019, I created a video discussing my top 10 exclusive Nintendo Switch games at that time. Now, nearly 4 years later, a plethora of new and exceptional games have been released. Today, I am revisiting and updating that list with a few titles from the previous list still making the cut. Remakes are also included this time around.
Emphasizing Nintendo exclusives, this list features primarily first-party Nintendo titles without including ports. It’s important to note that if your favorite 100-hour RPG is missing, it’s likely because I haven’t experienced it yet.

The Pokemon IP, known to be one of the biggest global franchises, constantly introduces new projects ranging from anime seasons to games. While the Nintendo Switch offerings of Pokemon games have faced technical challenges, Pokemon Sword and Shield stands out as a strong entry in the main Pokemon franchise.
This game showcases unique aesthetics, locations, and Pokemon. It innovatively changed the Gym Battles formula, introduced an open-world concept, and featured Gigantamaxing Pokemon and raids, creating exciting gaming experiences. The collaborative aspect of battling giant Pokemon with friends added a refreshing dynamic to the gameplay.
