Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
Following the journey of two young boys, one older than the other, who must embark on a fantastical adventure fraught with peril if they hope to save their sickly father. What’s unique about this game is its control scheme, having both brothers move independently of one another using respective analog sticks, challenging coordination throughout this short journey.
Originally released for the Xbox 360 back in 2013, this remake repackages the iconic tale for the modern gamer.
Go Mecha Ball
This charming Game Pass Day One release features a twin-stick top-down shooter where you roll around each level, bumping into shooting and using collected abilities to annihilate increasingly difficult waves of enemies and big bosses. The controls are slick, responsive, and good fun, making it a bright and colorful game with excellent sound design.
Banishes: Ghosts of New Eden
A gripping paranormal narrative adventure that tells the tale of ghost hunters called to a 17th-century New England town to investigate a spooky curse. With the job proving deadly, the game explores themes of love, loyalty, and the supernatural, as players must choose between their code and matters of the heart.
