Exciting New Game Leaks for the June 2024 Season
So, there are some exciting new game leaks appearing online ahead of the June season in 2024. The would have been E3 time frame, of course, we know that is no longer an event that takes place; it’s canceled for the foreseeable future.
All of the individual companies, for the most part, are confirmed to hold their own big game presentations over the course of this time. Jeff Key’s summer game Fest is more or less like a game awards type presentation, but from a lot of different third-party Studios, with Microsoft and Sony showing up with some minor stuff. We don’t really see Nintendo participate in those too much from a direct perspective, but we do see some games that are revealed to be headed to Nintendo’s consoles. I believe we will indeed see that again this year and probably see a lot of titles that will maybe be slated for Switch 2 but just won’t have the Switch 2 Logo at the end of it. Nintendo has yet to officially reveal the console other than committing to reveal it this year or in fiscal year 2024, which ends March 2025.
Microsoft will be holding their big presentation in the month of June, and I believe we’re about to hear one from Sony. Whether or not that happens this week is kind of some rumor mill and debate online. We may or may not hear about a Sony event this week, and if we don’t, they’ll likely hold one in June to update their players on what’s coming for the rest of 2024.
We had that exciting tweet from Nintendo, not only talking about their plans to reveal their next-gen console but also giving us one of the longest heads up around the fact that they have committed to putting on a Nintendo Direct presentation in the month of June. I’m very much hoping that it is earlier in the month as opposed to later, but we’ll wait and see for all of that.
There are some new game leak conversations appearing online, some of which I do believe will be directly revealed at the Direct presentation. Other ones could be tied to some projects that are further down the line, but there is a lot to unpack in this video. Host of Leaks from Madori
Madori has been very active and vocal as of recently. It’s kind of funny seeing her go from almost a stance of maybe not leaking anything anymore to now just dropping code names left and right. Watch the video for full details.
