February 2022 Video Game Pick Ups & Review Vlog

What’s up everyone, Jack here from Go Source World, and welcome to the video gaming pickups February 2022 and review. First of all, how was February for you all? For me, it was a great month. I had a nice break from work and was able to relax and unwind. I also went back to Bernardo’s, my favorite gaming store, for the first time since the Christmas season. And let me tell you, it was a nice long break that I truly cherished.

Unfortunately, I didn’t attend any Nintendo Nottingham events this month, so no shop vlogs or pickups to share with you all. But that’s okay because I had a great time staying at home, playing games and just enjoying my time off. On a side note, I’m currently working on my Formula 1 2002 playthrough, and by the time this video is up, you can expect to see the full playlist on the screen. I have completed three games already, and the fourth one is in the works. These four big racing games will be featured throughout the summer and hopefully by the end of Christmas or even into January of next year. So be on the lookout for that. But enough about that, let’s dive into the gaming pickups for this month.

I made my purchases from CEX and Game Retail, and all of them are second-hand. But don’t let the pre-owned label fool you because I tested them all, and they work perfectly fine with no problems or faultiness. In this haul, I have two PS2s, two PS3s, one Xbox 360, and one Nintendo Switch. So without further ado, let’s get started with the first console.

I was able to snatch up a great deal just before the price went up. Any guesses on what it might be? Yes, you guessed it right. It’s Jak 2: Renegade, the sequel to the first game, Jak and Daxter. But this time, I have the PS2 version, and I couldn’t be happier. This game follows the story of Jak and Daxter entering a new world and facing difficult challenges together. And for the price, I paid only £2.50, which is a steal considering that the current price at CEX is £3.50. I feel so lucky to have gotten my hands on this game before the price went up. Inside, you’ll find the manual and the disc, and let’s take a moment to appreciate the cover art with Jak in his dark eco form. It is so cool.

Now, moving on to the second PS2 game I picked up this month – ATV Offroad Fury. This game brings back so many memories for me. I used to play this a lot with my friends back in the day, and I’m so excited to relive those moments. I got this game for £1.50; again, a great deal from CEX. The disc is in good condition, but unfortunately, it came without the manual. But that’s not a big deal for me because I’m just happy to have this game in my collection.

Next up, we have a PS3 game, and it is none other than Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. I paid £2 for this game, and it came with the manual, which is always a plus for me. The disc is also in great condition, and I can’t wait to dive into it.

Now, we have a bit of a rarity in this haul – Colin McRae Dirt for Xbox 360. This game is one of the few that I was missing from my collection, and it’s in great condition. I got it for £3.50 from CEX; a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it. The disc looks like new, and I’m excited to add it to my Xbox 360 collection.

Last but not least, we have The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Nintendo Switch. This game was a must-have for me, and I was lucky enough to find it at Game Retail for only £15. The cover art is beautiful, and the game itself is amazing. I’m already loving the new mechanics and the use of Joy-Cons in this version.
