2024 Iron Review – Game Improvement Irons

Welcome back to the channel!

Today, we’re diving into the world of game improvement irons and putting them to the test. The key metrics we’re focusing on are carry distance and dispersion from front to back. We’ll analyze how far the ball goes when hit perfectly and how short it falls when we miss the mark.

If you’re in the market for golf clubs and unsure which direction to take, consider game improvement irons. These are often favored by high handicappers seeking more distance and assistance in getting the ball airborne.

Game improvement irons, like the ones we’re testing today, are designed to launch the ball higher while maintaining loft, resulting in increased distance. Among the irons in our lineup are the Cobra dark speed, Ping g430, Cleveland launcher, mauno jpx 923 hot metal, Callaway AI smoke, tailor made Qi, and Titus t350.

All these seven irons are in the same category with stiff flexes and similar shafts, such as Dynamic Golds 105s and modus 105s. While they may vary slightly in flex and other specifications, we aim to provide accurate and comparable numbers to aid in decision-making.

As we test each iron, we’ll hit about three balls with each, focusing on consistency and performance. For reference, a standard seven iron carries around 170 yards with a launch angle of approximately 17. However, keep in mind that the shafts used may differ from our standard setup.

We’ll begin our testing journey with the tailor made iron, and rest assured, we’ll break down our findings in detail in the video. Stay tuned for insightful comparisons and recommendations.
